Leah Eddy, Piano
Leah studied piano, harp and voice privately from ages seven to eighteen. After high school, she attended Dyersburg State College (Dysersburg, Tennessee) pursing her Associate of Arts degree in general education while continuing her studies in piano and voice and performing on the harp professionally.
In addition to her musical endeavors, she attended Miracle Mountain Ranch School of Discipleship, where she received valuable life skills, biblical teaching, and the opportunity to receive her Master’s in Biblical Counseling.
Leah has performed live at Carnegie Hall as part of a vocal ensemble and recounts that experience as “unforgettable”. She currently teaches private piano lessons at the Jacksonville School of Music and also teaches private harp lessons from her home studio.
In addition to teaching piano and harp, Leah regularly participates on the praise team at her church here in Jacksonville and also enjoys volunteering at the theater, where she had the honor of playing the lead roles in Cinderella and Romeo and Juliet on her hometown stage in Covington, Tennessee.
“I love teaching because I get the opportunity to not only invest into people’s lives but also share my love and passion for music. Seeing the light in their eyes when they finally master a piece or understand a specific concept…there is nothing else like it for me!”
