Lydia Rodriguez, Voice
Lydia Rodriguez, originally from Tampa Florida, began pursuing a career in music at the age of 12.
She attended Orange Grove Middle Magnet School of the Arts and Howard W. Blake High School of the Arts in Hillsborough County, both with a concentration in vocal music. She attended various prestigious and honorable musical activities around the state of Florida, including performing for Disney’s Candlelight Processional and the top FMEA All-State Choirs. She was also given numerous opportunities to travel both nationally and internationally singing for audiences in over seven countries.
Lydia moved to Jacksonville in 2019 to pursue a degree in Music Education from The University of North Florida, where she was cast in operas such as
Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, and Mozart’s Così fan Tutte, and sang for the university’s top choral ensembles, singing in countries like Italy and Slovenia. Lydia fell in love with teaching music to students of all ages through her deep love of studying music. Lydia believes in the power of music education and hopes to inspire her students to do the same.
