Rosemary Gray - Piano, Alto Sax, Flute, Clarinet
Rosemary has been teaching for the past four years, discovering her love for it while still in high school as a peer educator. She seeks to inspire a passion for music in all her students and show them the joys of being a musician. She began pursuing music at 10 years old, starting on clarinet in her middle school's band. In addition to her 13 years of experience on clarinet, she has a combined 10 years on piano, flute and saxophone. Rosemary is classically trained but has performed in jazz ensembles and enjoys writing her own music for piano.
Rosemary spent her high school years participating in numerous ensembles and clinics through the University of South Florida in her hometown of Tampa before going on to pursue a degree in music performance at the University of North Florida here in Jacksonville. Though her concentration is in clarinet, she has studied piano and woodwind techniques at a collegiate level. She has performed with the UNF Wind Symphony and concert band for the past four years and is currently a member of the UNF Clarinet Studio under her professor Dr. Sunshine Simmons. Rosemary has travelled to Denver and Reno to perform at the International Clarinet Association's Clarinetfest, and has an upcoming performance in Dublin.
