My name is Tristan Komorny, I have experience teaching in both private and public-school settings since 2017 with a strong emphasis on contemporary rock and jazz music.
I have traveled across the country as well as Mexico and Canada as a touring musician. I have received multiple national awards for jazz improvisation on both bass and electric guitar (Worldstrides 2016).
As a teacher, I hope to instill a love of music in every student and personalize each curriculum to the students’ styles of learning as well as interests.
